Requesting an asset (claiming or booking)

Mutu offers 2 different options for items that are listed on the marketplace. These are:

Claimable assets: Assets that are available once and then disappear off Mutu once they are claimed. Typically these are materials or other consumables.

Bookable assets: Assets that can be requested over and over again. You will need to indicate on a calendar when you want the asset and return it when your booking comes to an end.

Sending a request

The Discover page shows whether an assets is claimable or bookable.

When you click on an asset you will be presented with to option to either Request (claim) or Book it.

For a claim request, you will be asked to confirm your request and it will then be sent to the Contact responsible for that asset. If there is more than 1 of the item available you will be asked to indicate the quantity you want before sending the request.

For a booking request, you will be directed to a calendar and you will need to indicate the dates you want to book the asset. Red dates indicate the asset is already booked out. You will be asked to confirm your request and it will then be sent to the Contact responsible for that asset. If there is more than 1 of the item available you will be asked to indicate the quantity you want before sending the request.

Once you have sent either a claim or booking request you can manage and view your requests on the Manage requests tab on the left of the Discover screen.
